Tara Dunn (@tara_dunn), web analytics manager at Location3, will be speaking at the upcoming Technology Summit for nonprofit organizations in the Boulder area on June 19. The day-long Technology Summit is hosted by the Nonprofit Cultivation Center in conjunction with the Foothills United Way, and is “dedicated to addressing the gap in appropriate time and training resources nonprofits need to be the most productive and effective in their work.”
Tara will be providing basic training on Google Analytics. Her presentation will address how website tracking may be used to better understand visitor behavior and optimize a web site’s business efficiency. This session will overview Google Analytics capabilities for understanding visitor demographics and behavior, setting up goals/conversions, tracking top referring sites and keywords, and reporting. Visitors will leave with an understanding of how to set up Google Analytics on their web page and with key resources for starting their own reporting.
Nonprofit representatives can also gain a deeper understanding of other tech related topics, which can help to streamline their organizations and reduce costs. Other topics include creating efficiencies with existing technologies, best practices in social media, using tech to better manage workloads and more.
The event takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 19 at Rembrandt Yard in Boulder, CO (1301 Spruce Street). If you are a representative at a nonprofit organization, you can register for $60 for the first participating staff member and $45 for each additional member.
